Vince Young was injured both physically and reportedly mentally. Claims are that fans who booed him after two interceptions really bothered him and have questioned his desire to keep playing. Anyway, Tennessee has signed Chris Simms who might emerge as the starter while Young is recouping.

Rudi Johnson signs with Detroit Lions

It didn’t take long for R. Johnson to catch on somewhere else. Detroit tired of a worn out Tatum Bell and a lack of complete faith in Kevin Smith will add Rudi Johnson to the backfield mix as insurance. Smith I assume still has to be the #1 starter in Detroit though. Still, he is worth a free agent pick up to replace Bell or whoever is weak in the RB category.
